‘Never… better… Aibou…’

She opens her eyes and smiles at him, ‘That was… different…’ She didn’t want to use her voice, knowing that she wouldn’t be able to. Her breath was still coming rapidly. Yami curled into Yugi with a soft smile and a sigh.

She shivered as her body started to cool and moved closer to Yugi, wrapping an arm around him, lazily.

Yugi noticed her shiver. He reached down to grab the blanket and covered them up. He wrapped his arms back around her. He laughed a little.

‘Yes, that was definitely different.’ He leans in to kiss her. ‘I love you Yami.’

‘It is different as a girl… very different…’

She smiles as he kisses her and holds him tight, “I love you too, my Yugi.” Without a second thought, she places a soft kiss over his heart and rests her hand there to feel it beating.

‘I love knowing that I belong to you. It makes me feel… needed. And special…’

Yugi smiles and brings his hand up to cover hers. He leans in to give her a quick kiss.

“I feel the same way about you. I love you so much. I can’t wait until we are married and then everyone will know we belong together.”

Yugi stared at her for a moment taking in how beautiful she looked. He didn’t see a girl or a guy. He saw Yami, and he saw the love of his life. He couldn’t help, but smile. A thought then occurred to him and he began to laugh a little.

‘You know love, this whole you turning into a girl might be a blessing in disguise.’

‘What do you mean Aibou?’

She was smiling. Just knowing that they would be married eventually was such a good thought. She could tell that Yugi never judged her. She opened her link to let her love for him flow. No matter what happened in their future, she would love him. She loved him with everything that made her who she was…

Yugi smiled as he felt her side of the link open. He opened his so that she could feel how much he loved her as well. It didn’t matter how many times they did this, or spoke the words, it was always a joy for Yugi to hear and feel how Yami felt about him. It was something that would always make him smile.

‘Well, considering that in the future I apparently will be a girl, maybe this experience will help you know some of what I am going through when that time comes. Emotionally and physically.’
